Lost on Black Mountain Interior Art: Vignette #3

Summer camp has always been a place for pranks, but the campers at Camp Kitawnee on Black Mountain are seeing increasingly dangerous incidents which are quickly shattering the innocence of their camp experience. And so begins the story that is Lost on Black Mountain, the third book in the Flaugherty Twins Mysteries series.

In the middle of the Flaugherty twins’ investigation into the mysterious happenings at camp, Pat is involved in a boating accident and ends up Lost on Black Mountain.

Once he is rescued, he is sent to the local hospital to recover. The third illustration or vignette by Jeff McKeever depicts the moment when Pat, in his hospital room, has a eureka moment that could help to unlock the mystery.

Is something sinister going on at the camp? Can the Flaugherty twins decipher the mysterious symbol that appears at the scene of each incident? And how does all of this tie in with the enigmatic cult that lives across the lake?

Read Lost on Black Mountain to find out how Pat and Patty resolve all these issues in order to help Bob’s family return the summer camp to its idyllic setting once more.
