Lost on Black Mountain Initial Cover Art

The third installment of the Flaugherty Twins Mysteries, Lost on Black Mountain, is coming soon.

A preliminary version of the Lost on Black Mountain cover art has been created. Jeff McKeever once again captures the excitement of the Flaugherty Twins Mysteries with his exceptional artwork.

In the drawing, we see a pivotal scene that focuses on the twins and their friend, Bob, as they navigate the waters of the lake at the summer camp in the mountains. A violent thunderstorm has erupted and they must rescue little Anto, who has rowed out onto the lake by himself. Will they get to him in time? Or will the storm sweep him away? Can they make it to land before their rowboat founders?

This exciting story is told in Lost on Black Mountain, which will be available soon through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other selected retailers.

I have made suggestions to Jeff for three minor changes to the artwork before it is finalized. When the book is published, see if you can spot the changes that will be made.
